As the title asks, what has been the biggest challenge you’ve experienced with having torch corals? Downsides? Upsides? Want to have them in my new tank but have been leery with all the mixed information there is out there!

Tank age and parameters?

Regardless, they are fairly resilient in my experience. They like moderate flow, moderate lighting (100-250 par).

Mine have survived zero nutrients, and phos over 1.0, managed to live through serious dino outbreak, etc.

If your tank is several months old or more and reasonably stable I think you'll be just fine.

Really not much different than as long as your tank is semi established and you place them in the correct flow and par.Tidal Garden’s has great specific coral care, take a look.

I don’t have any yet. Just trying to prepare in advance for adding them to my update!

Torches in my own personal expierence seem to be the most “diva-like” out of all euphyllia. They are much more sensitive to salinity/alk/temp/mg swings than hammers, frogspawns and octos.

Agreed on the above comments. Flow is extremely important to euphyllia. Also, dont forget to give it room for future growth. They will usually play nice with other torches, but that's about the only thing in my experience.
