Biocube skimmer micro bubbles

Anyone else have the coral life biocube skimmer and have had problems with microbubbles? I’ve had mine for like 4 months and didn’t have any problems with microbubbles till today after I did a water change. I took the skimmer out and cleaned it and made sure it was still together tight and that nothing was loose but I still got micro bubbles anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it before I throw this piece of junk out
