I have a Arduino - Duinotech Uno - from a starter kit....
From Dr Google..

Arduino is a microcontroller based electronic platform which is open for everyone, means anyone can use it without any cost.

Now let’s get dive into the answer of differences between Arduino Uno and Arduino Nano.

  1. Basically Arduino Nano is very much similar to Arduino UNO. Bothe of the board use the same micro controller like Atmega328p and also share the same program.
  2. The main difference between these two bards is in size, Uno is double to Nano.
  3. Basically USB cables are used for the programming in Arduino Uno and on the contrary in Arduino Nano uses the mini USB cable.
Below a chart is given to differentiate between them:

So s long as the UNO can fit - it is OK to use... otherwise I will buy a NANO.
Cool, keep us updated and share some pictures when it's done as Id like to see if!

- 100uf 24V capacitor
- Rotary encoder

Hi - do you have a part number for these please?

This is the rotary encoder that I bought, it does not matter which one you use as soon as its for Arduino. They may differ by number of pins (5pins vs 4pins) but it's a small thing - important thing is reviews whether the encoder is OK-ish.

As for capacitors - you need any reasonable 100uf capacitor (just google). Voltage - wise it just needs to be rated equal to or greater than 12v.. 24v is adequate - those will last..

Mr Borat - the parts are rolling in.
Still a lot to go.
Got the fan and the motor so far.

My next task is to draw up the box and the mounting, you said you had a jig... are you able to share the dimensions?
Thanks.

Once I have the parts drawn in 2D - I will get them laser cut.
Max thickness is 10mm - so I will be joining two for the hose clamp part.
