I was cleaning up my old photo's and came across these. Not sure why, but I can't bring myself to delete them even though they are not of happier days.

Those pics should make you smile. [emoji2]

They remind us all of our determination and the fact that we care and can overcome tough obstacles.

Great job sir and your tank looks fantastic!

Thank you!

I did learn a lot while dealing with cyano, dino's and other algae issues. It made me understand that maintaining water parameters is only a small part of proper husbandry and that water testing for nutrients isn't necessarily indicative of what is actually going on in your tank.

So much for a relaxing evening watching sports! I had noticed my return pump wasn't pumping nearly as much water as it should. I should have changed it out with the spare so I could clean it last month but I've found every excuse not to. I realized tonight that I couldn't put it off any longer. Pumps are swapped, flow is so much better, and I will clean it and get it ready to be used as the spare until the next cleaning is due.

I started my night cutting the grass, weed eating, and edging. By the time I got to the aquarium I was already tired. Having 2 identical pumps that I swap out made it much easier than it could have been.

Finally made it over here to congratulate you on succumbing to the power of squishy bouncy. Can't wait for it to open.
I can't wait, either! How many days do you think it will take to fully open?

This is the WYSIWYG photo from the vendor. The colors are much more pastel than the photo indicated.

I am so geeking out about this Trachy. My tank is shifting to moon lighting and the green on it is about the brightest thing in my tank. Most of the green is still folded in (I think). Even then, it is just breathtaking!

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
