My BRS doser... Runs for 2 min every 6 hours. Drops Approx 20 drops in those 2 min.
What's wrong? I'm unable to remove the air bubble in the tubing also the tubing is about 5 ft from the dosing machine.... With two 90 bends push connects. Is that the reason? !!!
Oh...
Outlet is same level as pump.

Please 🙏

Thx

Hi there, you are likely sucking in air from one of the push connects or from the connection right at the doser itself.
What type of tubing are you using? I only use the flexible tubing that BRS sells for them so there is no need for any push connects.

I use the ones from home Depot that's very hard when you pinch! I think they're for RODI...iirc.... They're translucent.

agree with this, there should be no need for push connects or any fittings on a dosing line.

You’ll have far less issues if you switch out that tubing with the flexible without using any push connects. If the tubing is difficult to fit over the connector, just heat up some water, and put the tubing into that for a few minutes. It softens the tubing and allows you to stretch it over the connection. Believe me, even if it seems difficult, the tighter the better!

Can't I get this soft tubing in a local Petco store? Will it be less quality

the tubing at petco is generally airline tubing which is less durable and also often thicker diameter, meaning more dosing liquid sitting in the tubes between doses. you could if you wanted to.

I just thought about this ...unless you immerse the other end won't air get in the tubing no matter what tube you use.. even with or without push connect junctions?

Not really, no. If the dosing solution is cold it can gas out though, as it warms up, causing bubbles. That wouldn't have any effect on dosing amounts though. Leaks or dodgy rollers on the doser, or damaged peristaltic tubing would be on my list.

For what it's worth I suggest using a plastic one way valve inline, somewhere.

Started using BRS tubing... It's consistent now...18 drops a minute.
Even with this tubing it sometimes didn't drop liquid drop for 6 seconds in between.... Dunno why. But issue got solved since I get consistent drops per minute.

I dose a minute 4 times daily.
