I had a nem split a few months back. The parent is fine but the baby, while alive, looks like a piece of chewed bubble gum. I figure no one is going to intervene in the wild, sh why do it in my tank. I'm waiting it out and letting nature take it's course.

Looks fine. Don't feed till the mouth heals. Rainbows like to split into threes. I start with one now have over 15. If you feed them they will grow and split more.

My splits will sometime do that once in a while. Leave them alone and they will find a place they like. You can try feeding it cyclops if it's tentacles come out.

Agreed, no need to worry. If it starts losing color, moving constantly/generally looking unhealthy that is when its time to be concerned! Yours have great coloring and are all open so they're happy I'm sure! If they keep splitting and you run out of room share some of the love and send me one ;)
