Hello this my first post on r2r :)
I have a 2' cube i'm starting up soon, can't decide what to do with the lights.
this is my first marine tank so i plan on sticking to beginner corals.

The options I'm considering:
I found a kessil a160we tuna blue for cheap (but no controller, dont know if thats a problem or not)
noop mini (or maybe two if one isn't enough?)
noop k7 pro 3

also, if i get a noop light, is there a way to get them with australian plugs or will i need an adapter?
thanks for your helps :)

Welcome to R2R!

Would you consider using a T5HO fluorescent array? There’s a few very budget friendly 2ft2, 8 bulb arrays available, which will output far more light for the price, and can be supplemented with smaller LEDs!

Welcome!

The general advice is to buy the best light you can afford. I got the Noop Pro 7 v3 from Aliexpress (you can specify the plug) as you can't get it here (UK) for about £120 with £60 tax when it got here. The app is not great but a poster on here created a simple to set the light schedule and intensity to your liking.

Starting with beginner corals is sensible, of course, but in a few months you'll start eyeing LPS corals, which is why it's best to get a decent light from the outset.

It's a great hobby and the forum is full if helpful and knowledgable reefers. Good luck!
