I recently set up a pro clear 150. Lfs sold me pretty hard on a single redsea wavemaker 25. Put it in, I don’t believe it’s adequate flow so I planned on getting a second one for a crisp $320.

THEN BRS post the video yesterday about the maxspect gyre cloud edition and it’s made me rethink everything. I can get 2 of the gyre’s for a little under $500.

Should I just resell the redsea and get the dual gyre’s or buy the second redsea

I was thinking about getting one despite swearing them off after having a first gen that was a total piece of junk. Then I read the reviews at BRS for them. The pumps may be way better, but consensus seems to be the controller is junk and of course dependent on their cloud server. Reminded me too much of all the problems with Mobius.
