Orphek Reefscaping Showcases Beautiful Tanks
Orphek Showcase high-end tanks and how they can be even more stunning!
We been receiving many requests for our LED solutions from both aqua and reefscaping hobbyist eager to upgrade their high-end tanks. As you all know aquascaping a saltwater reef tank is not an easy hobby, but once you get it, there are endless possibilities of layouts from small to exquisite large tanks.

As we all know, the most important thing above all is setting up a marine aquarium with high-quality healthy corals and proper lighting.

In the past aquascapers used large amounts of live rock. Today modern reef aquaria take a minimalist approach to its design.

This is why they choose Orphek: we offer LED lighting products for aquariums with most advanced & efficient technology with a conceptual design. And our Atlantik V4 Gen2 and our OR3 LED Bars series provide the minimalist sleek layout they are looking for!

We will continue to showcase our OR3 Reef Aquarium LED Bars. You will see how you can mix them with other fixtures (Orphek products or other brands) or make your own combination the bars with multiple LED ratios.

If you want to see all the beautiful pictures and tank layouts with our OR3 LED Bars combine with other LED Solutions go to:

Will 150 reef day be sold in the near future?
I think you may end up with empty promises in waiting for a 150 unit. This is from my buying experience with orphek. I was told 2 weeks last year 2019 around august. Here we are today with no 150. If you do research. Some threads say available in 2 weeks back in 2018.

I saw another post 2 weeks ago saying a 150 would be available last week. Were u able to get one?

I'm currently using t5 suppliment lighting to my orpheks. The lighting looks great but to be honest, i hate the over spill from the t5's into the room. I did some research on 60" led bars and found some by reef breeders called lumenbar. Im going to look into getting custom 60" from them now. They look similar to the orphek lights so it should blend well aesthetically too.

Good luck

What size is your aquarium? I have 2 v4's and one v4 compact going horizontal down middle of aquarium. Mine is 72inch long by 27wide. With this setup i need suppliments on the side. I would have bought more v4s and placed vertically but took advice of sales rep in that the 150's would pair better with the horizontal setup.

4 units vertically on that aquarium will bet great! You will not need any suppliment lighting and you will be very happy. The colors you will get will be amazing. That is the way i should have went instead of going horizontal. You will not have any light spillage either. Good choice.
