I just got my 35” or3’s yesterday and am going to hang them today. I’ve owned a blue and uv or1 and a blue and full spectrum or2. I didn’t care for the or1’s as they really changed the color of the water in the tank but the or2’s looked way better. I built a new hood and the 4 footers didn’t quite fit. These three foot bars don’t go end to end but cover as much as my atlantik and compact. I’m just hoping to get a little more coverage and a hair more par. Time to hang and admire

These are more of a version three but still known as OR2. The bulb change is the only thing significant . They should do well at 5w.
Interested to see if their is a REAL Difference.

I recently purchased 4 OR2 120s. Is there a way to tell if they were manufactured in 2020? Maybe by serial number. I'd like to confirm if they're 3w or 5w diodes. Thanks

They look like the or2’s but i don’t have my old ones to put them side by side with. It looks just like my ramp down coloration from the atlantiks. I’ll be putting a video on YouTube soon. Here’s a link to the last video

The only change is the LEDs dial chip 5w in the older version single chip 3w. All rest are the same . Also same output same power same par same spectrum. The 5w will give much longer life with almost zero lost of PAR over the years. Each led chip will work only 50% the power then before . Beside the LEDs chip are bigger and stronger with better improve of internal lens and thicker golden wire at the led.

Great picture showing the dual chips! I really like that they are 5w dual but run at the same level for longevity!
I heard that the 150cm should be ready any day now in the Blue Plus. I hope to have some soon and will post some PAR and Kill-A-Watt numbers.

Tengo dos acuarios conectados al mismo SUMP. La urna principal es de 110x80x55 y la segunda es de 50x50x40 con anémonas.
Próximamente (este verano) voy a sustituir el acuario de 50x50x40 por un acuario de 120x60x50 para dedicarlo exclusivamente a acroporas.

Sus luces son geniales, me gusta mucho la iluminación que da al acuario.
Si quiere que le promocione en el nuevo acuario su iluminación, estaría dispuesto, ya que no he decidido aún qué iluminación poner.

Indicar soy tertuliano habitual en un programa de españa de YouTube en que tratamos los temas de acuarios con una media de visualizaciones de 4000 personas. Le dejo un enlace por si le interesa echar un vistazo.

Finally installed an additional and latest OR3 60 Blue Plus for my no sump no reactor reef tank. Took 2 photos, using Orphek lens kit.

Tank dimension: 2ft x 2ft x 1ft, 160 litres
Mounted 2 x OR2 60 reef Day Plus, 1 x OR2 60 Blue Plus and 1 x OR3 Blue Plus

Other equipment:
OASE BioMaster Canister filter
Bubble Magus QQ2 Nano internal skimmer
Arctica Chiller

Livestock:
1 Tailspot Blenny
1 6 Line Wrasse

@Orphek Is there any update on the dimmer/controller for the OR bars? As far back as 2018 we have been told it is in the works and should be released after a few more months. Just wondering if it was put on hold.
