My first experience with a massage was after a car accident, and it was labeled "medical deep tissue massage" and partnered with a sports chiropractor. The chiropractor would align first then to the massage where she started with a warning "this will hurt and not be like 'other massages ', I'm trying to break down the grumpy muscle tissue and allow for proper healing" she used tools and left marks. I LOVED IT. She literally could not push hard enough, it was great. I miss her. It's 3+hours away from me but dang it'd be worth it.

I think I need to find one of those myself.

I'm normally fine - Florida born and raised. This should be a 9 hour day fully in the sun in June to achieve these results :loudly-crying-face:

I do, I don't know why I didn't consider adding that to my skin earlier.... On the plus side both my body wash and lotion have aloe in them to begin with

It took me so long to find her. Most of the people I was seeing just didn't grasp that when I went in for deep tissue it was because I literally cannot feel them touching me with a relaxation massage and it does absolutely nothing for me. Deep tissue is necessary to actually get any value from it. They wouldn't apply enough pressure. Person after person. She actually listened

Tried that, unfortunately everyone She could think of is way further south or in a place like massage envy/hand and stone (most of those further south as well) She knows how heavy handed I need lol

So true, too many just up and retired due to the " bug" ,dentists I seem to be leading the pack w that ,
Long wait time on just about all Dr's , seems like it has to be an emergency to get appt and seen quickly nowadays...:frowning-face:

Oh I will still drive to Brandon for my hairdresser, and to Tampa for my nails. And unfortunately to Tampa for work :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

But I already strongly dislike my primary care physician I'm not too upset about losing her if I need to, she does do primarily virtual visits though which is nice if can't find anyone better. And I suspect that will actually be the case, she was the least obtuse of the ones I have seen in the last few years.

My ENT pulled me off of allergy drops and it has been 2 months since I took them and I have not had any major flare-ups, so I no longer need to go there to pick up drops every 3 months. Or go to him to follow up every 6 months. Unless a problem arises. He was my most seen Dr for years.

We'll see what happens with this neurology stuff....
