Researching lid options for the peninsula. Refuse to go with toplids again. Reached out to kraken and clearview lids for quotes. Kraken has all the regular style listed already but no peninsula options, not sure if they'll make for the peninsula or not - but my old pico tank lid was from them - it was simple and worked perfectly for what I needed. Lid doesn't need to be fancy, just needs to be less of a hassle than what came with the tank. Would love to go lid free but I know they'll jump.

Unfortunately the company I used for my 1200 doesn't exist anymore :loudly-crying-face:

Should I let mine flower? I got a succulent, one of the ones that look like tiny aloe, like the one in the right of stangs' picture, and it flowered. Crazy long flower with apparently sticky flowers. Wondering if I should trim it....

I've always let mine do whatever they want. If the plant itself starts to struggle then cutting the flower can help redirect the energy again

I was surprised at how long it's gotten, and the flowers have started to stick to the window like glue, it's just chillin' doing it's thing I guess.

The skull pot I printed was probably not big enough, but now that I know it's a good file I'll reprint at full size.

I've been having these weird either dreams or hallucinations as I fall asleep. As well as a lot more hypnic jerks again. But the last few nights I think something is touching my face, I "wake up" (maybe, idk), I see some big weird long stringy black thing moving, I ask Matt what the heck he's doing and roll over and he's nowhere to be found and the thing in my vision moves with me.... I look at the time and it's usually within 15-30 minutes of the "time I went to bed" but again the thing is kinda blocking my view as I move my eyes, I close my eyes and I can still see it squiggling around until I make sure my eyes are fully still - then it fades away, if I move them again whether they're opened or closed it come back. Always looks like a weird black noodly *thing* starting from about 1-2 feet away squiggling towards me.

Anyway, got the ioaoi pump thingy, it fits! Got the light put on it. I think I know where I want to put it but I still need something to put it on so I'm researching on marketplace and amazon for a bit. Also need to find if I kept the rest of the unused black sand from the last pico or not.

Have you heard of floaters in eyes? I get those sometimes. They can be related to migraines too but not always.
Or you have a ghost visiting and messing with you? :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I get floaters sometimes, but this is wildly different (at least in sleep haze) - very 3d and outside of me. I genuinely don't know if I'm asleep when it's happening or not. I don't tend to remember dreams, but the ones I do remember usually are things like - full conversations with my husband while laying in bed that never actually happened, or getting out of bed to do something but that not actually happening either.

Also just asked husband if he's heard me yelling at him at night the last few nights and he said no. So leaning towards weird repeat dream experiences.

No but when we went to cocoa last year (around the same time of the year actually) I kept "waking up" to a weird figure hanging out in the chair next to the dresser in our room there. So maybe I'm haunted this time of year lol

Plan is still to get the peninsula up and running with different live rock maybe & dry rock. Move my shrimp eaters. Add peppermint & bergs to this tank to clean this rock up, then move the rest of this rock I wanted to into to that tank. But man this is unsightly. It definitely got worse after I juiced them

If I was to decide to go that route again: recommendations?

They'd be with the Marine betta, Foxface, and an assortment of wrasse for sure.
