What is this?

Just an empty shell, I threw some empties in there for the 2 bigger hermits in the photos. That photo was for the bivalve to the right of the shell

Everything seems to be going great! All the anthias, pipefish, and seahorses eating good still? What's your feeding schedule like currently?
Yep, everyone eating well in the cube as well. I've been loading it up with pods but I feed mysis about 2x a day over there. Half a cube in the morning, half in the evening.

Edited because I missed part of the question:
Anthias in peninsula eating well. My husband calls them my feeder fish because he thinks they look like goldfish. I have my plank set up and it feeds 3x a day for a minute. I also add a little extra myself in the morning or evening or whenever I feel like it. Either frozen, krill pellets, garlic flakes, or nori. Keep it varied.

That’s that life rock? That’s amazing. I’d love some of that for the 70. Would be super cool to have all kk da of nifty things all in it.
yeah I got nearly all the rock from tampa bay saltwater, a little from a local, but everything thats really visible and covered in goodies came from tbs instead

I wonder how hard it would be to get some delivered here lol. It’s beautiful. I’ll have to stuff the name in the part of my brain that doesn’t forget names lol.

I got some flown up here to Idaho! They do make smaller 8# amounts that ship ups too.

they do the treasure boxes (i think that's what they call them) via ups - smaller amounts, great for adding a little diversity and less headache to arrange than pickup at airport and such. I don't know if I would have gone through with it if I couldn't have just met them locally to grab it all.

I do believe that they took significant damage after recent hurricanes and you might have to wait until the beginning of next year(I think)...
They moved facilities after Helene, I picked up my rock after that storm.... and as far as I can tell are already set to reopen after Milton. In fact, looking at their website they're advertising a Black Friday Sale...

Not hard but maybe expensive. But worth it IMO

Sharing is caring. There's 700 things to hitch to in here, but here they all are.

I should get around to mounting the 2nd powerhead today. This week is probably going to be insanity with the holiday and Black Friday. We have no idea what business to expect for our location.

Trying to figure out what to do with my sock/roller situation in the peninsula. It seems like the socks muck up real fast - I turned the roller off because I felt like it ate through way too quickly but that may have been from all the live sand debris initially.

Maybe I'll set it back up today and see how it goes. There's a slight haze in the water that I'm not a huge fan of. Matt doesn't notice it, but I do.

I also need to clean both inside and outside glass in the peninsula today. And change the blade on my flipper for the cube - if I have spares and/or can find them.

First, another mug of coffee and a few more chapters of my book.

This is new (in the peninsula)

Know what sucks about the peninsula?? So much more glass to keep clean.

What is it ?
No idea :face-with-tears-of-joy: I don't want to put my hands in the tank right now. Looks like the tube for feather dusters or the tube nem but the nem is on the other side of the tank (I can see them both at once) and I've seen no feather dusters or cocoworms in here so far.
