I had one but it died. Easily one of my all time favorite fish and will be adding another when I find one again.

I try not to order fish/ livestock from December thru February cause temps are just too unpredictable. But sometimes I just can’t help myself lol.

it's safer here usually, because our hotter temps are more stressful for the fish than our cooler temps.... depending on where they're coming from of course.

Interesting discovery this afternoon, did a squirt of Fauna Marin's ocean plankton after releasing the mandarin to see if he'd eat it - all the seahorses did.

Spotted 3 sm porcelain crabs today (one in this photo) and 2 big ones.

The 2 mantis shrimp are getting big but they're so cryptic I can never get photos of them.

Also added to the peninsula today, a timor wrasse. It played dead every time I walked by during acclimation - and buried itself immediately just like the black leopard did. HOWEVER I just spotted it swimming around investigating the tank.

Some of you may have been around when I tried to add one back to my old cade tank and had a doa arrival, then a weird tumorey arrival that went into quarantine and didn't make it. This is the first I've tried again in years.

In less happy news, I haven't seen the cow since the night he was added. No body or anything, I'm assuming cuc got him though if he passed. The file is doing fine still after that shipping fiasco at least.
