I'm currently on hold with them for my missing delivery.

Both of my fish were dead. Per their directions I floated them for 30 minutes even though they were in cloudy water and they were stiff as a board.

That's what happened with the last fish I got packaged this way - also a box (my shorted one this time). Completely stiff, never came back.

I also had a pipefish come this way prior to that who was alive barely but didn't make it through acclimation after the floating.

Then I had the delivery with the beat to hell black leopard - tons of missing scales down one side, fins shredded, mouth all red and inflamed.

Then just a lot of *when is this even going to ship* situations with them over the last year.

They finally found out it's shipping from California and they just haven't put it in the mail yet. It's only been over a week since the order. :face-with-rolling-eyes: I suppose the fires could be affecting some of that but why'd they wait in the first place? Fires are going on 4 days right? Order was placed 9 days ago.

The fires over there are why i was so confused that they even shipped this order last night to begin with

Swimming laps around the tank, trying to swim straight into the gyre. Exploring in general.

Foxface was too interested initially. Tossed a sheet of purple seaweed in there to distract and he seems to have forgotten there was ever a new addition.

We get some captive bred from time to time around here but far less than we used to. Yes I'm still breeding them. I've had limited time so unfortunately limited success. I currently have 5 or 6 ready for homes soon @Stang67 is on tap for those if we can work it out. And a few young ones that need a few more months. Expecting a new batch end of the month.

I have 16 noobs still eating bbs... can try shipping in a few weeks.

Caught a gorilla last night - not sure if it's the same big one that's been giving me the stink eye or not.

I know there's at least one big one and one small one. This one is big, and was out in the corner and I was able to net him. I didn't pay super close attention to him because I was half asleep telling my husband and dog goodnight in the living room and caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye. I tossed him in the sump and he's hiding this morning.

Got a cool new book in the mail today though. Going to sort through it tonight to help me plan my gardens for this year.

Don't worry, I do use regular medicine when called for. But when you got the chronically f'd up - sometimes a simple tea or elixir is the best so you're not causing more damage elsewhere.

There's a recipe in here called deep sleep banana tea :thinking-face:

The Mrs would love this. Any excuse to avoid Western medicine and grow more plants. Not sure which is more important to her.
