Liveaquaria shipped last night, minus one fish. I hope they all arrive okay... And that they actually ship the other. FedEx, not UPS.

Tidal still shipped, and of course I got a delay notification. I'm surprised they shipped anyway with the winter storm at the hub.

Currently sitting in juror holding room with a migraine from the extremely strong floral smell of the girl next to me.

Fake floral is the worst. Maybe she's a ho. We used to call that stuff ***** musk when I was in college. Used it to cover up other "smells".
Funny I won a prize on the cherry live sale. They shipped it ups ground yesterday from Michigan. I'm getting it this afternoon. Yep basically overnight. But the overnight stuff is shipped differently and is delayed till next week when were getting another round of weather. so yeah logistics.

I received the second LiveAquaria box yesterday. UPS says they still haven't received the first box yet though... I might be reaching out to LA today.

So, they didn't charge me for the fish they didn't ship.... but it's still available to order online from the same center? Guess I'll have to reach out and figure out what that's about... hopefully the other 2 & the urchin are healthy when they arrive today.

Me: Cool, curious if you can give me some feedback on why this fish was shorted but is still available for order in the same size from the same center. If it's not healthy or you're out of inventory shouldn't it be removed so I can't turn around and place the order again immediately?

In other words... Can a human read this instead of responding with an auto script?

Editing to add: the last doa fish I received from them was torn to pieces. So, not sure how that was a specimen displaying exemplary health.

Giving them some time to warm up and maybe be okay but I'm pretty sure this entire delivery is doa.

It is the Cali facility that packages like this. Now I know.

Someone still uses a Styrofoam box - might be the Wisconsin/Divers Den facility only... I don't know if there's regular deliveries out of that one as well or if it's just DD. I got my anthias from there with no issues and good pkging still - not too long ago.

Update: a quick search through random fish and there are things that ship out of Wisconsin that aren't DD. So I think that one is still safe. For now...

Okay, about 25 minutes of the bags warming up in the tank and the urchin is definitely alive. I have released him.

The longhorn cow is showing signs of Life. I just started drip acclimating him.

Skeletor wanted to come out back so I have not checked on the file fish who is floating in the sump of the other tank yet...

Better than expected. Water was reading 52° through the bags which probably means even colder inside initially.

The missing fish was a black box - going to have to find a different vendor for that in the future if I still want one for the tank.

And the file is perking up as well. I am genuinely surprised that everything is alive with how cold it was. Let's see if they make it through 24 hours though...

Cow isn't "swimming" but his fins are going and he did turn himself around in the container as he acclimates.

File isn't able to hold himself up straight yet but he's not gasping like crazy and his fins are going a mile a minute now - could also be because he's not in a ton of water yet while he drips.

Yeah, I think this is my last time with them as well. I'm hopeful everyone makes it from this delivery but this has definitely been the most stressful experience with them to date. I've had a few bad ones over the last year, gradually getting worse and worse.

Both of my fish were dead. Per their directions I floated them for 30 minutes even though they were in cloudy water and they were stiff as a board.
