Couple small updates...

I did end up losing one of the seahorses, I found it almost dead Sunday afternoon. I think it's the one that got caught the last time in the powerhead before I bagged them. There was a smaller one that was struggling with mobility in general after that and looking over everyone they seem to be moving around just fine. Very sad.

The wrasse in that tank that I still needed to catch is starting to become a problem during feeding, as well as the Royal gramma which I was not expecting to be a problem. And the file fish that I put in there to eat aiptasia is picking at the cabbage leather instead.

So, I got a new trap in yesterday and the plan is to try to catch the three of them with that, if not I know I can catch the file fish with a net because I know exactly where it sleeps...

That's my project for tomorrow

I thought about getting one for my small tanks that are overrun, but I had the same bad luck with them eating corals, namely cynarina/acanthos....

Okay, headed to the sump not the peninsula.... I have never experienced them nipping at those corals but not risking it.

Got up this morning, 2 of the 3 mollies in the trap (not the goal). Still working on the wrasse. I was hanging out in here last night watching for where he sleeps and walked away for 2 freakin minutes and he hid then :rolleyes:

Hopefully tomorrow I can get him.

-move one of the elegance (not getting quite the flow it wants)

Black sun, as in the black/green nps, like a dendro? I love those! I had a nice 15 head stick of it a while back. Just need to make sure to feed each and every head

Yep, I had blacks and oranges before the last move (Jan 2024), they didn't make the move unfortunately. I won some in an auction for $8 so I'm going to rebuild that population, hopefully.

Wow, they're practically giving them away!! Ime, they are very forgiving. All you have to do is get them enough food, which can be difficult with fish/ shrimp trying to steal it, without fouling the water. Keeping them happy and trained to be open during the day is very satisfying. Probably more so than acropora.
Where are you finding all these oddball creatures?
