Cade Chaos Grimoire

Which tank? Please share
The new one(I think)...
A 24k lepto entrusting on this rock. Especially with your lighting, I think it would look awesome- it'll be the golden rod.

Maybe something more fluffy, like zoas, would be easier to get to wrap all the way around it. Either way, I would want something entrusting this rock in that position and get it going early- I imagine it taking a while to cover it.

Lepto have never liked me. I'm not sure what I do to anger them so.

24k prefer less par typically - at least in my experience.

Yes, every time I've tried any lepto they've bleached out on me no matter where I try to hide them
I would try again. Everything seems to be doing sooo well in this tank. This is the one on the moonshine?
Yeah, but not my first moonshine tank - the old cade 1200 was also run on shine.

Imo, it's just a receipt on your chemistry. But with that rock, and everything seeming to do well(I see the red sponge still looking good... might be worth a try. But anything else would work just the same, I would just want that rock covered in something...

It'll be covered by something eventually, for sure. And yeah all the sponge is doing well, I'm not surprised it hasn't died off but I am surprised the angels haven't just eaten it.

Sorry... I didn't mean to distract you from taking/posting some pics of the new additions.. :face-in-clouds:
Tomorrow I'll try to get a photo or two. Lights are ramping down and I don't want to get the ponies all riled up and awake again.

Good point! What might be more appropriate?
Cyphastrea can handle most lighting spectrums but sometimes they brown out in bright light.

Maybe a Styloconiella? I've had an Electric Daisy do really well in high, medium, and low light conditions.

Porites might be another one that could work? Medium light seems good for them but they may color morph/shift in higher light.

My green Cactus Pavona does really well in higher light as well.

Ohhhh... Either a Rainbow, Fruit Loops(?), or Superman encrusting Monti. My Superman has a very awesome purple to almost black flesh with red, green, and yellow polyps in high light (it's about 6" from the surface directly below the lights). It seems to grow very slow in higher light though compared to medium light.

I like this. Maybe a burning banana.., it would kinda look like a cactus!
Maybe. Burning Banana tends to like lower light in my tanks.

I think yellow coral tend to be more prone to bleaching?

I need some gsp or something for the pony tank :thinking-face:

Newbies:

Some crazy sinularia, bali xenia (not invasive like regular), ruby xenia (also not invasive like regular), red crazy branching sponge, snowball toadstool, and supposed to be a weeping willow toadstool

I have a lot of greyish/purpleish/reddish tones in here, I have one crown with neon green polyps, but I feel like I need more green and gsp would be an easy add

If you can wait a month I can throw some in with the culerpa I'm still planning on sending. My back glass has plenty.

Hey @danieyella here's my Superman Montipora. Like I said, it grows pretty slowly higher in the light but the colors are cool. So close to almost being black flesh.

Ignore the patches of dying Ulva. It took hold and I'm currently (finally) winning thanks to a 1.5 x dose of Flux.
