I caught my yellow wrasse "hiding" a while back with the whole body under but snoot and one eye out of the sand. Lil eye followed me watching but I couldn't get a good photo, I was late nite peeping. I loved it though, hilarious.

I got home too late, dang West Coast vs East Coast time zones! I'll stalk the next ones though, I'll be more prepared.Everything but the acro.
My method is: put the min bid on anything I'm interested in, forget..... Sometimes I'll circle back closer to when they end and remember to watch and bid again, last night wasn't one of those nights.

I looked at theirs exactly once then said NOPE and have literally never ordered from them, the math wasn't mathingSBB auctions are insane. They have a 55% off code just before they throw the sales into the auctions. Guess what?
It seems over 70% of the coral go over the 55% discount price. So people are paying more auction wise than if they went with 55% off. They can't have several hundred in gift cards, can they?
Gotta love sales! Chop shops never surprise me! lol.I looked at theirs exactly once then said NOPE and have literally never ordered from them, the math wasn't mathing
Not to mention the bugs, I'm scared of sbb. Heard too muchGotta love sales! Chop shops never surprise me! lol.
I have heard bad about other vendors. But sbb hasn't been one of them. Maybe a few people you know have had bad experiences. From what I have seen, Shane has always corrected any issues. I can't say the same for other vendors. Not to mention the bugs, I'm scared of sbb. Heard too much
Of the handful I know of, customer service wasn't the problem(never heard of issues there). But no company is much help if your catches something.I have heard bad about other vendors. Yuh, that's the bad thing about acropora. You can get all kinds of bugs from a friend if they don't know they got em.Of the handful I know of, customer service wasn't the problem(never heard of issues there). But no company is much help if your catches something.
And I will add, only heard of pests(getting parts dips) with the acros. Never anything else
Agreed! But at the same time, some places have such a great reputation that nobody feels comfortable accusing them, even when all the corals came from same place. But you are right. Lengthy quarantine is the only way to be sure.Yuh, that's the bad thing about acropora. You can get all kinds of bugs from a friend if they don't know they got em.
Anytime you get coral from anyone, you are risking adding something unwanted to the tank. So, a lot of the more serious keepers have quarantine set up for any new coral.
It's something you have to ask yourself "$$$ for a quarantine setup, or risk $$$$ of livestock on adding new frags."
All these sale's vendors have some issues. One I wont name as I have no proof, only word of mouth on here, has shipped people dead coral.
Best to buy or trade with those you are most comfortable with.
