Order w/ fuzzy dwarf & 5 more rfas got cancelled, they were struggling to fill the dwarf but they threw me on a list so they can reach out once they source one again.

Thinking about ordering more rfas from the person I got the first 10 from. They've all gone into the rockwork though so that I'm only really able to spot 2-3 of them without a 395 at night.

Trying to decide next steps w/ the peninsula in general.

Since the powder brown disappeared and clearly didn't make it... I may or may not have ordered another tang to replace it.

Not a brown though... Ordered a white cheek (gold rim) instead. Stay a teenie bit smaller, so probably better this way anyway.

Also a starry blenny for the pony tank (algae assist, hopefully)

And a couple banggai for the peninsula.

I did place a coral order for the peninsula yesterday as well.

Yikes, 98 at the highest, 15 at the sand bed. Time to start increasing

Okay, increased to 130-160 across the highest points in the rockwork where I can reasonably place corals, sand bed ranging from 40-70 presently.

Will adjust more if necessary in a couple weeks. Don't want to overload all at once.

Did not measure the extreme ends of the tank but there's nothing in those areas presently anyway.

Kind of curious what the pony tank is at, but definitely don't want to start messing with things there. The softies are happy enough with whatever it is - I literally plugged the light in when I got it and just hit a preset option and let it go.

The ruby xenia I originally had in there that I thought died with the oxydator malfunction (left the frag plug because hey maybe it'll come back) did in fact come back, it's down on the sand bed - considering pulling it and putting it in the peninsula before it grows enough to attach to rockwork in the cube.

I also have a small koji wada pink nepthea that is NOT growing whatsoever in the pony tank but *is* alive. Part of me wants to move it over and see if it actually grows in the peninsula. Another part of me doesn't want to touch it for fear of melting away. Its been the same size for at least a year...

What do you guys think? Move the koji and small ruby ? Leave them both? Move one?

have you icp tested the pony water? Or any water for potassium? I know who cares..

But, after getting my potassium levels up my decayed leathers began to rejuvenate and are now growing.

I have not icp tested the pony water in ages actually. BUT with that said, all the other softies in that tank are thriving, just the koji is stagnant. That tank does get semi-regular water changes because of how much food goes into it daily, so I assume it's probably still fine.

Koji's usually like a little higher par and more flow than I think is really happening in that tank. Moving it might be a better idea honestly.

My biggest hesitation right now is finding the optimum place in the peninsula without the big stupid striped hermit plowing through it and knocking it into the abyss. Going to brainstorm a little bit and see what I can come up with.

my turbo snail died. No more rocks being toppled, no urchin to move frags, no hermits to eat the glue.. I don't have the energy to deal with that kind of chaos for the time being.

I have a lot of perfectly frag sized holes in the rocks - I discovered the hard way that the mantis does not approve of me closing those holes off with frags. He pushes them out

You could epoxy the frags in place. Or you could use the pegging method until corals encrust on the rock. Pegging allows the corals to be placed with a smaller hole between the rocks.

I could, but I don't want to permanently place anything until I know it's satisfied with the location & the mantis does not allow those locations for 24hrs

A couple dabs of superglue should might hold good enough, but not be too difficult to remove if necessary..
