Definitely feeling worse today so far. Yesterday it wasn't bad when I woke up but it slowly increased throughout the day.

Throat is still a little raw, as long as it doesn't get worse I'll be happy.

Not working means significantly less talking - that should help

Silly but works make some jello and drink it warm, not hot. It soothes and coats your throat.

Good productive first day of staycation. Cleaned my office, did a water change on the toad tank, cleaned the glass inside and out on the peninsula, cleaned up the wire rat nest in the peninsula control box, cleaned the living room and kitchen, printed an egg carton, ran errands, and potted a bunch of plants.

Today I need to clean up the plant room, repot my biggest monstera, repot a few other plants, clean the glass inside and out on the cube, and clean the chicken coop. And maybe try to take the emu eggs out into the woods to drain them...

Whoa, that's quite a list of accomplishments on your first day off! I can only think you are feeling healthy, although, thinking about it now, a scratchy throat is no match for a local swamp witch of your calibre!

Is anyone else annoyed looking at vendors sites and not being able to filter out the "sold out" options? If you're not going to have them auto-pull, at least give us an option to sort to only in stock

Got everything on my list done yesterday except the emu eggs - but we did stake another side of the fence line.

Skeletor has a vet appt this morning, annual checkup. I need to reach out to my tattoo girl to get my cover-up cl scheduled. Maybe I'll do the emu eggs today

2 coral deliveries confirmed tomorrow. A 3rd waiting to be scheduled.

My parents dog went jaundice over the weekend, they took her to the emergency vet who told her she has no gallbladder and that her liver looks all messed up and her kidneys as well. Recommended euthanasia because her quality of life would be trash. They took her home to spend a last day with her and arranged to take her to her normal vet for it. She also had some kind of infection at the same time. By yesterday she was no longer jaundice. Her normal vet thinks it's lepto, and recommended changing medications to treat that and taking her off the pain pills and giving it a few days instead before euthanizing. I really hope it's just lepto and not a bunch of crazy organ damage. She just turned 2.

Man, that really sucks about your parents' dog. I, too, hope it isn't as bad as the emergency vet's diagnosis.
