Took skeletor out this morning, one of the chickens was absolutely freaking out in the coop. Go over there, I hadn't let them in the run yet so couldn't see the victim or reason. Said something out loud, got inside the run and opened up the back door of the coop. Two oldest girls ran to the front, let them out. Didn't see any of the younger. Opened up the nesting area to check on them since they were all up in that spot. I assumed the older girls pinned one - but normally they act like that in the run not the coop.

Nope.

First egg is scary, apparently. No idea who's it is - safe to assume not the Easter egger or Olive egger.

I think everyone else lays cream or white.

Ginger/turmeric tea to help calm my throat down. It got worse for awhile today, completely lost my voice. That's back now at least, but I feel like I swallowed razors.

Woke up this morning with my left tonsil sore. Assumed it was from having the space heater on last night.

Now I'd say my right hurts way more, and my uvula feels swollen as well. I can't tell if my left is in pain still or not

Just have to make it through one more day then I'm off a week.
