Cade Chaos Grimoire

How have I never heard of this fish!! Are they known to eat aiptaisia? Or are they more hit or miss?
At 1st I was a little upset about you not liking the sticks:pleading-face:, but the last sentence about liking your corals squishy was just too cute.:star-struck: never heard it said like that before
They're not super popular in the US trade yet, from what I've gathered. But they are consistent aiptasia eaters, I don't think I've seen a report of one not clearing a tank so far. Took mine about 2 weeks and then overnight half the tank was clear... few days later there wasn't a trace to be found.

What other fish do you have? Any aggression? Do you think a Desjardini sailfin will accept it?
No aggression so far, he's w/ a foxface, an assortment of large and small wrasse, a marine betta, and some assorted sized gobies.

My experience with tangs from the old tank were wildly varied. Some were great with everything, no matter what size - some were massive brats and would assault everyone. Part of the reason I'm on the fence about adding tangs after everyone gets moved back to the bigger tank.

What I have & have not accomplished today....:

I have not touched the rocks in the peninsula.
I have built a shopping cart of nearly $200 in unique gorgs and invertebrate for the cube.
I have not placed any orders.

Sesame Street Idk GIF

Got eggcrate trimmed down to functional sized pieces and sanded to protect wrasse. Baby steps....

Been trying to think about a unique fish for the 5g.... Not 100% on adding something to it but maybe if I get a good enough suggestion...

I think a pistol and goby would be fun to watch
Pistols are absolutely out of the question. I had to rehome one from across the house in the old tank/house because I'm way too light a sleeper and it was waking me up :loudly-crying-face: never again

Today I'll do a water change on the little guy to prep for an actual inhabitant :thinking-face:

I'll say this: vision for the pico has been slowly changing. My old one was minimaxis and shrooms and zoas, I originally intended to just duplicate that here but I think this one is going to shift to macros and more natural looking chaos and I'll move the minimaxis to the peninsula once it's ready.

Unfortunately my macro go-to got hit hard in the storm so I'm not sure when they'll be up and running again.

Got a little of the eggcrate into the peninsula and I'm waiting on it to clear back up so I can keep plugging along.

Well the tank is habitable. I was messing with rock and found another crab. Not sure what kind. Moved his little holey rock to the sump.
