I will report later with some pictures.
I’m next to certain my slow coral growth and some retracted polyps was from the peroxide.

Tank is a dang mess, I want to water change my way out but of course the Dino’s like that. I honestly think letting it get a little gross will help me get over that hump
Peroxide is an oxidizer and should have little impact but dinos release low level toxins and could make them unhappy. You can do a siphoning and continue bacteria and peroxide

I’m thinking running the peroxide for that long was starting to irritate some of the corals but my tank aesthetically looked better. I’m not opposed to periodically treating it with h202 for shorter stints.

I have a ton of hair algae proliferating in the sand bed, I will try siphoning but if that doesn’t work I’m not sure how to manage it on the substrate. It’s really silly but I’m ok with the tank being ugly I feel like I avoided it by going straight to dinoflagellates. I had corals that were doing well but after only a few days off peroxide there was a notable jump in growth. I had a Jedi mind trick specifically that kept its color but had no polyp extension for weeks. I nearly chucked it, glad I didn’t because now it looks magnificent.

Seems to be a lot of controversy around bacteria’s. I added 20 pounds of TBS over two months ago, thought that would be a silver bullet. Any suggestions to what bacteria and what regimen? I do have mb7

Hair algae- Pull as much as you can by hand and reduce white intensity a few days . Peroxide should have helped with algae a little. MB7 is good, MB XLM is better

Ok I’m being a little more aggressive and putting a sock in the sump to start siphoning all the crap out instead of blowing it off and hoping some of it makes it down the drain.

I will look at a dosing regimen for those

Sock will be very helpful. Change out or clean daily
