Interesting. Hitch hiker?

Someone very recently posted a similar coral unattached that was just like this. Looked like a mushroom with polyps like this.

It looks more like some type of leather toadstool type coral to me.

I think you guys might be right , I had a toadstool in my first tank , its long since gone
But iv still got the same rocks ,had to cut the base off the rock to pass it on , wonder if it's a bit from the old toadstool stalk

Elongate xenia?

Maybe ,iv a pest xenia in my tank
The only think that makes me think maybe not ....is the round bit of the body

Looks like I'm gonna have to let in grow and see what iv got

Just a update , all those that called toadstool are bang on the money
Here's a couple pic from today
Not very nice looking but can't moan as its growing in a low light spot were I wouldn't of put anything anyway
