I’m suspecting high phosphates alongside lower alk
Well nitrates and phosphates should definitely not be zero.Alk- 9 dKHThat means it’s dead.

Its not dead but rather receded and can be due to:
Man U are a life saver, my heart stopped, it’s one of my FAVORITE corals. Its not dead but rather receded and can be due to:
Low calcium
Too high flow
Elevated Phosphate
Lack of feeding (I feed mine 2-3x a week with mysis shrimp right after lights go out)

What is your phos and nitrate level?Man U are a life saver, my heart stopped, it’s one of my FAVORITE corals.
I do feed them some oyster feast, However I only feed them like once a week, I’ll start feeding them way more often (2-3 times a week) and see how they go.
Do you have any tips on my phosphate and nitrate issue? My tanks new and the GHA snags it all, I’m worried abt dosing bc I’ve see people say “let the tank naturally do its thing and fight the GHA and naturally increase the phos and nitrates.”
Feeding it alone will not solve the problem.Man U are a life saver, my heart stopped, it’s one of my FAVORITE corals. Its not dead but rather receded and can be due to:

Ive asked on levels also - No need to quote me. Ive seen them worse than this and bounce back into a colonyFeeding it alone will not solve the problem.
Your nutrients are bottomed out and that should be addressed first.
Trumpets will thrive even without feeding

Yeah, thats an issue as I though phosphate played a role.I quoted OP and you got quoted as well as OP’s message quoted you I believe.
OP said phosphates and nitrates are zero
How are you testing phosphate level??Man U are a life saver, my heart stopped, it’s one of my FAVORITE corals.

Increased feedings will increase po4 but likely not effectively. If running any GFO or other media, remove for now
