Can't figure out what it is

This is my buddies, been bugging him for a chunk of it. neither of us know what it is, when he first got it it was one of those pieces that died, fell behind the rocks and rebirthed into an amazing piece. so essentially he lost tabs of it and cant remember what it is. Here are some pics, it is WAYY fuzzier than photographed here: (looking for the species not some fancy trade name)

My best guess would be acropora tenuis. A very nice one at that.

The polyps resemble a tenuis, but the coralites don't look long enough to be tenuis.

See i was thinking tenuis too just wasnt 100% certain..if it is its definitely one of the nicest ive seen

here is one of my tennius that i cut up and growing really nicely to compare.

It's either A. tenuis or A. vermiculata, but I'm thinking tenius as well.
