Hahaha burn! No the guys up in VA got all that. This is me alone doing all this here in NC. Also, you don't want me making your lid. I'm surprised I got this far on this build.

Got my pump in! Thanks again Premium Aquatics! This thing is freakin huge. The glasses didn't come with it, for size reference only and it still doesn't do the pump justice. However, of you do like the glasses they are from target and are $15. My kids like to break my sunglasses, oh about ever 2-3 months...

The tanks are now linked. Used as many threaded fittings as possible in case I find out down the road there was a better way to do it.

I contemplated how to hang the lights for a while. I was going to copy Tidal Gardens layout and suspend a 4x10 section of chain link fence over the tanks. When I started collecting all the materials I realized I can just used two top rails for a chain link fence setup and leave the rest out of it. So I ended up suspending two 10' upper rails made for chain link fence from the ceiling above. Worked out great and everything is fully adjustable.

Sand added to the lower 300 for the lagoon tank. Can't wait to get all my fish and corals in that tank and out of the old house!

Going to set the skimmer in the middle tank while all else fills to suck up some of that fine dust from the sand. It's the worst part when adding new sand.

Getting so close to overflowing into the last tank!

Once that happens I'll hook up a temp danner mag to pump to the top 300 gallon and start the system running without the display upstairs. Then once the salinity, temp and it's nice and clear my fish babies can come home. Hopefully another 24 hours and that will start.

Welcome to NC! I grew up in that area and moved to Wilmington 10 years ago and never left. I'm setting up a 180 myself right now. Shoot me a line when you got some corals for sale or if your in my area!

Good question and haven't mentioned it yet. I have a dehumidifier hooked up right now rated for a 1000sqft room and also going to install and exhaust vent that will exit on the side of the house
