What about REALLY old skool and put an under gravel filter with crushed coral in there. LOL! Subscribed. I may go "low Tech" on the cube when I get back from Germany if this works out well.....
 
Sounds like a fun project, a small tank with more money in stock then most peoples large displays, LOL...good luck.....you don't think over feeding a small tank like that might cause bad water swings?
 
Ya know I really don't think it will be honestly... I have one of each species coral to tell me what's going on should make it easy with out testing... Sps playing the biggest factor..

Yeah I feel ya there I almost can tell what param is even the slightest off by what my acros are doing ;)
 
Here is today's pics coral look good the hurricane looks like it's recovering well!!!! I have fed the tank twice this week once with vit c and coral amino and the second time reef caviar to the challies...

A no namer I rescued from a silver of flesh... It's now 3 seperate challies on a single skeleton lol.... Turning into a stunned all red with a purple rim..

Nice those are most of the time my favorite types of corals I don't know if its the joy of thinking "yep I saved that" or that they always keep surprising you lol, but if you have three I think there's a special place in my new lps tank for it lol ;)
 
i wanna try this out too Lee! i got me a 24" PC 50/50 bulbed fixture and a 20L doin' nuthin outside
