If its a standered frag tank 10 tall id say in the 18-22 high rang. Your all set with that If that is two blue for your liking because it will be on the blue side switch out the second bulb the a ATI special.

+1 to this combo. If you are just keeping chalices, the Blue+ bulbs will put out plenty of PAR. As m and m said, if you want more of a 14K look, then switch one of the Blue+'s for an AquaBlue Special. The Fiji Purple will help pop the colors of any watermelons you have.

You should take credit for that got all that info through you and your Chalice/LPS thread and Applied it to my system just on a bigger scale and works AMAZING!

No, not enough PAR. See below...

I wanna know a good combo for sps with a 11 bulb set up.

50/50 Blue Plus/Aquablue Specials.

I guess 50/50 won't work, with 11 bulbs...lol. I'd go with 6 Blue Plus and 5 Aquablue Specials, alternating each, starting and ending with a Blue Plus.

I would say yes it would. The guy above me must not use this combo. Blue pluse put out a ton of par. You just might have to lower the lights from 20inch high to more like 15 high. Trust me that combo is fine for SPS.

IF you want a bluer look And plenty of color and POP in the color I would go with

1 UVL Atinic
2Blue plus
3Blue Plus
4Fiji
5Blue plus
6AQUA blue sp
7Blue pluse
8Fiji
9blue plus
10blue plus
11UVL attinic

Somthing along those lines but 11 bulbs is a ton of light what kinda tank is it going on?

I'm the guy above you...lol. Yes, I've used that combo, on 2 predominately SPS tanks. I had much better growth, and color, with a 50/50 Blue Plus and Aquablue Special. I've used both combos, over a 40 breeder, with 6 bulbs and a 200 Deep Dimension, with 10 bulbs.

Well the demensions of your breader and a his frag tank are diffrent. I have used that bulb combo on a old frag tank and it grew and colored SPS just fine.

Actually, on further review, thinking of the following combo:

6 bulb:
4 B+, 1 AB SP, 1 P+ versus 3B+, 1 AB SP, 1 P+, 1 Actinic

8 bulb
4 B+, 2 AB SP, 1 KZ FP, 1 KZ Coral Light versus 4B+, 2 AB SP, 1 KZ FP, and 1 KZ New Gen
