It's definitely a merulinid of some sort; not sure if it is a chalice or not. Mycedium and Echinopora are the chalices in this family; it's definitely not Echinopora but it might be a Mycedium. can you get a top-down shot of this coral?

I have some Favias, I originally thought that this what I bought but when I brought it home it doesn’t really look like itIf we're talking about the coral right in the front then I would gander to say that's a favia of some sort.
