Has anyone purchased any of the leds from China off Ebay? Some of the lights are $10! I'm really looking to just fill in a few areas that are shadowed to grow zoas, nothing fancy, but I'm not not sure I trust their claims to "grow coral".

for supplementation I think they will be ok, im pretty new to the hobby but have friends that run chinese leds over their reefs and they grow coral just fine, so im sure they will do perfect for supplementation.

I honestly think I found the best LEDs on the market. I think they're called the Truelumen Pro Strip Light. On their website they claim that the 24 inch light produces 16 watts of power, and they're around $40

I have a 48" Current Truelumen on my 50 gallon. They really don't penetrate deep enough for my 265. It is a good light though.
