Has anyone used led strip lights on a nano reef. I can only find the white in 4000k now I know that won't do much for color but should help some soft coral grow quick right?

420-470nm is your Primary Grow Spectrum. I like 440-455 or Royal Blue for both growth and looks.

I would pass on 4K as its more for Kitchen Lighting

What about using 65k light bulbs that are like regular light bulbs that we use in our house along with the royal blue strip light over a 10 gal nano

Those work. I used a Cree Cool White PAR38 to grow Cheato. It worked well for about a year then the PAR38 driver failed. If you choose a PAR38 choose a quality one. The LEDs may be good for 50,000 hours but the rest of the light is not.

If you google Nano PAR 38 you will get good results with lots of links. This way you will not need the Royal Blue Strip.
