Hi, I bought a Chelmon Rostratus mainly to combat the majano problem. I have to say that I may have been lucky, but in spots I see it going to pinch them and over time I am noticing that they are diminishing. At the same time I had to isolate the acanthastrees (a known problem that I knew about) but it's not a problem. I've also noticed that always in the spot it pinches some polyps of some acropora especially before the lights go on and before they go off, I wanted to know if any of you have experienced the Chelmon pinching polyps of SPS? I know they are more prone to LPS and sosft, I often see it in SPS tanks so I thought this behaviour was strange.
Could you give me more info?

The use of the scientific name may be throwing some people off, I have had no issues with my Copperband Butterfly when it comes to my corals. I do see it picking constantly in between the polyps for small copepods and amphipods. i have had mine nearly 2 years now in a heavily sps dominated mixed reef.
