So I guess this thread determined I would be having chili for dinner tonight.

Deer chili is tops for me. I'm also in the camp that could care less if it has beans or not.

We serve chili during the fall and winter at my BBQ restaurant with brisket trimmings and burnt ends.

I am generally very suspicious when the cafe at the local aquarium offers "fish of the day" on their menu.
Yup! I'm not eating at Humblefish Café! :p

I'm with Rick. Soup is soup, Stew is stew and Chili is chili!
I hate it when people make chili and call it the best and it's actually more like a goulash. All they need to do is pour it over some noodles.

I like a lot of beans in mine but them meat should be the largest ingredient 4 to 1.

I agree you have to have chili powder and cumin for spices , now what do you use to make you sweat, peppers, hot sauce , another spice ???

Put the turkey in the oven with a thermometer probe unstuffed, covered. cooked breast down until the temp reaches 120 degrees. Flip the turkey, breast up and brown the skin. Done:rolleyes:
