Have you ever kept a Christmas tree worm rock? I think it’s my favorite piece (in my 40 gallon shallow reef tank.) and it’s doing well!

That is awesome. How much did you pay for it (if you don't mind me asking)? I've always wanted one but never came across one cheap enough for me

Don’t you have a thread already on this exact topic?

Every time i go diving, i can spend half of my dive time examining the Christmas tree worm. Maybe it's time i get one for my tank. Any special requirements / attention you give to it ?

Kinda late but I also have some. I got super lucky at MACNA a few years ago and picked up my rock for an amazing price. I'm in college so they have made the 1,000 mile journey to and from home with me a few times and are still doing great and growing. I absolutely love them. It's funny because in a dorm, there is a lot of noise and vibration to freak them out and therefore they have actually conditioned themselves to not be bothered anymore. They used to close if someone closed a door don the hall. Now, I have to almost slam my desk for them to close up.

I just broadcast feed reefroids into the tank about once a week as well as phyto half way through the week and they're thriving. They need relatively high flow but not so much that their crowns are being blown over.
