What do you guys do if :
1.Carrier mess up/delay all your order and they arrive DOA
2.You can't claim carrier and the site doesn't responsiblity for carrier fault
3. Is better to use Fedex or Ups( i had/heard a lot of problem from Fedex)and some site
doesn't use Fedex because of it but some site still use them...my questions why they
(site/seller) still use this carrier if they mess up a lot of delivery .....in long term isn't
good for their business too ...who want to spend their big cash and get dead stuff
just like throw cash direct to garbage bin.........Thanks for help

Which carrier did the shipper use? Was this a Internet retailer or a private transaction?

For one, I would not buy from anyone that did not guarantee live delivery (on the first attempt).

Thanks first ,,,,they used fedex /internet retailer they just guarantee live delivery on first attempt but not guarantee on carrier fault/delay....

The seller needs to contact the carrier and submit the claim. As far as I know the shipper has to start it. Hopefully he'll get his money back and return reship you new stuff

We had a customer a long time ago that lived out in the middle of nowhere in like Montana. The shipping cost more then what they purchased. It was late spring and there was a freak snow storm and the plane was grounded for 3 days. So needless to say, nothing survived and because it was the weather, FedEx did not refund the shipping as they are not responsible for the weather. So we were both out. We still gave them credit on the livestock and we ended up losing money on the deal, but thats part of the business. (Just one of our experiences)

When it comes to carrier delays and weather, its out of everybodies hands except God. If its part of their terms and conditions its a risk you take ordering from them. We have a similar policy but we always try to work our customers to make things right. So it wouldn't hurt to ask them to work with you on it. Don't be a PITA about it, ask for a refund or credit. If they're reputable, they should atleast give you credit for it and not the shipping because the shipping wasn't their fault.

I would talk to whoever you got the shipment from and see if they would atleast give you half credit.
