Ironically, Tidal Gardens just screwed up and sent me the wrong coral. I got a Rainbow monti (which I already have a colony of in my tank) instead of a Rainbow Goni. Now I get to see how they make it right.
So far it seems like they want to give me a refund or include it in my next order. I haven't decided how I feel about that. I understand they don't want to lose money on shipping, but I also don't want to have to pay shipping for something that I already bought.
It would have been cool getting a free coral (the rainbow monti) if I didn't already have it.
Why isn’t this guy shut down? I was fortunate in that my credit card company investigated and eventually refunded my money. He is a total scam!!! Thief actually.I have been irritated if I allow my mind to start thinking of the situation that involves clam mania. John is nice if he wants to update you with bogus lip service and fulfill you with untrue promises. I ordered the fish in March 2025. Almost to May 2026. I’ve called and emailed repeatedly. I offered several solutions to get a bite of interest in returning a call to me. I’m owed a CUC package and a $200.00 fish. I told him to send a clam that justifies a wash for what I payed. Offered to him to send me 200.00 in a CUC, along with previous ordered CUC. Doesn’t matter. I have no good feelings or sentiments towards his ethics or business dealings. What a sham! RAP Orlando today. If you’re going, only do buisness with this character if you get what you are after on the spot. I am unable to find my payment
method for any type of transaction credit, and I’m sure it’s to late to get a claim in anyways for recovering lost funds. I’m so sick of this. John, get your stuff together, a premier source of clams whatever, nice website, a deceptively inaccurate representation of what you won’t receive, or understand why you won’t. Stupid!!!

People are known for putting on a different face for videos or in person.I’ve seen videos of John on youtube at the coral shows almost every time. Seems like the logistic side of things might be an issue from all of these negative experiences.
I do agree however, the not answering email or calls is the deciding factor to not spend my money here. I’ve had online retailers like POTO and reef beauties respond back to my DOA claims or shipping issues same day within the next few hours. It’s the little things that really get customers to shop over & over again.
Looking to pick up some clams in the near future, any alternative sellers with WYSIWYG?
