After I let this vinegar/water solution sit for a day, should I fill again to make sure all vinegar is out and ph is balanced?

Rinse it and you will be fine. If you are worried since vinegar is an acid use some baking soda in your rinse water. It is a base and the 2 will cancel each other out.

I would have to ask my chemistry teacher. I have no idea of how much, without doing a PH test.

Okay I just drained my tank, no leaks stain is gone. Smells like vinegar and pump couldnt get all the water out obviously. Should I fill it with straight tap and drain again to get all vinegar out?

Is your tank on the floor? If not, create a symphony to drain the rest of the water out.

If it is on the floor then you can use a shop vac. Note, empty the shop vac before use and take the filter out

At this point I would hose it out with tap about 4-5 times, then rinse with ro/di and let dry. Run pumps with it a couple of times too to get everything out of them

Its on a stand, I have a siphon pump but it just cant get every drop of water out, I'd say there about a centimeter height wise of water left. I'm hoping it evaporates out.
