Cleaning tools used in fragging

Hi All,
I'm new to fragging and have been playing around with purple monsters that took over a rock. When I frag them, I notice some of the polys squirt. I frag them off the base chipping out the rock as recommended, but I notice some of them squirt. Not sure if they do it for defense or I cut a stem accidently. Anyways, what is the recommended cleaning of the tools used for zoa fragging. I have a plastic container, cutting board, tweezers, and Japanese chisel. Do I just rinse it in water, outside or do I need to bleach it? Is fragging zoas indoors safe or need to be outside a well ventilated area. Appreciate the folks recommending the PPE almost got squirted in the eye. TIA.

I would wear eye protection if you are fragging in a way they may squirt you.

Also keep your mouth closed ;)

So you have pictures of the zoa?

You could clean everything off with rubbing alcohol.

Thanks. Yes, had my goggles, gloves and mask on. Here's the pic of my latest frags and rock. Do you frag indoors or out?

I frag indoors. With no PPE. But I am careful about how I cut my zoas. Cutting into the stem or the meaty part can cause them to squirt. Think of it like staving a bag of water

If you are trying to clear off that rock, and you are removing it completely consider using a dremel to cut into the rock a bit then use a chisel. You’d likely get more at once.
