close up coral shots

:wink:Here are some coral shots. I have been playing around with the new camera i got a canon rebel xs. Did them all with manual focus, let me know what you think and any tips you can give me It has a general picture taking lens right now (EFS 18-55mm) I didn't mess with any settings on the camera

Well, you are off to a good start.

Remember that a picture that is IN FOCUS but a couple inches farther away, is better then a close up that is not sharp. Learn to work within the limits of your hardware, and your will be much happier with the result. Also, try the "shade" setting on the camera's WB menu, it will drop some of the blue from the non flash images.

Thank you for the tips poseidon, ill play with the white balance tonight and see what i can do. FF yes im running 150w AB 20k bulb with these shots
