Hey all,

A few quick questions for you all. As many of you know I am in the process of setting up my first ever saltwater tank. It's been a LONG road, but I have finally made it to getting to fill the tank with water. I have all of my aqua-scaping in place, as well as my sand. However, when I started filling the tank the clear water hit the sand and turned cloudy. (I rinsed every bag of sand several times before putting it in the tank.) My question(s) is/are:

1.) From your experience how long will the water stay cloudy??

2.) When setting up at this stage is it best to have the circulation pumps on and moving the water in the tank, even though the water is cloudy, or is it best to keep them off until the water "settles."

I think those are the only questions I have for now. . . But if I think of some more I will ask!! Thanks in advance!
~Matt

Great. I realized after I responded that I probably should have said, "it will be much clearer tomorrow.":-)

Actually doing the same thing myself on a replacement tank. Put water and rocks in on Friday.
