I just want to share a video of my clownfish laying eggs. Its a long video. They take about 2-3 hours from when they start cleaningbthe area until all eggs are laid.

I got my pair from a breeder about 7 years ago. Their parents are Nebula and a Doni Snowcasso. They started laying eggs March of 2024. The female is the one with no spots. The male has spots on his side.

I've tried to catch them several times with the Vossen larval trap but I just keep missing when they hatch. The fish refuse to lay anywhere else except the exact same spot each time. I've tried to place a tile near their laying spot and I think it may have threw them off, as they stopped laying for a couple months.

Place a ceramic saucer upside down over the spot and the female will either 1) use all her might to move the saucer out of the way, or 2) lay on it. This is what I do with my breeding pair in my DT.
