I had the same thing happen to some purple SPS. They browned out. Also some boring brown SPS coloured up quite nicely. The Purple ones are slowly getting their colour back. Whenever you change the type of light the corals need time to adjust especially if your increasing the amount of light.

Were these an early maxspect. Recently a lot of companies like evolution are tweaking their royal blues to make the coral colour pop and look better.

it was a earlier model but they were over my tank for 1 year

i want to try plasma next you sell them wld1783?

FOR SOME REASON EVERBODY SEEMS TO FORGET ABOUT LEDS ON A LIGHT MOVER.
Leds on a deep tank must be moved because of there beam effect.
You can either have vho/t5 or my choice a single strip of leds that light up the full tank.
I like the cheap chain movers because they move the light very slow but ant mover works great.
Even if your tank only allows your lights to move a foot you will see why you need a mover,
