Hi guys I've got two Kessil A160we on my 75 gallon tank and I'm looking at putting a light controller on them in sted of a timer. Any suggestions.

Just use the older controller from Kessil. The new (X) version is compatible but has no advantage when used with the 160. Should be pretty easy to get a used one from the classifieds here.

Or an Apex, that's what I used. Plus you get all the advantages of a full aquarium controller
