Cool Find!

Well i tore my tank all the way down a few days ago, Today i went to drain the overflows so i could move the tank and when i pulled out the bulkhead i found a cool find! I found a Neon Goby. I put a neon goby in my tank two years and never saw him again. As im sure alot of you know neon gobies dont have the best survival rate anyway, But he managed to live happily in my overflow for two years. He was super fat to.
Just thought yall would get a kick out of that.

Nice, I did that with a high fin banded goby. I thought he was a goner for almost 8 months and turns out he moved inside the pvc tube on my frag rack on the back wall.

No pics. I put him in the new 300 gallon tank the day i posted this thread and again have not caught a glimpse of him anywhere. Maybe he will turn up in an overflow again in a few years.

Man, my neon goby did the same dang thing in the RSM. He lived for a couple of months before I realized he was in there. He literally did better in the overflow than in the main part of the tank. Weird.

Update!!! I hadnt seen the little bugger since the day i put him in the 300 gallon. Had a friend over the other day and he spotted something swimming around in my overflow! LOL! Yep he is living in one of the overflows in the new tank already. I think i may leave him there as he seems to like it and from the looks of his belly is getting plenty of food

Awesome:). All I find when I break down tanks is wet or dry fish jerky (depending on whether it gets stuck in the piping or actually leaves the tank;)).
