So I just started treatment on ich for my clownfish on QT tank. I have a powerhead and heater in the 10g tank. Can I use the powerhead or heater later day to ie mixed new saltwater or whatever after I shut down the QT tank? Does copper leached into the plastic? My assumption is no.

No, copper doesn't "stick" to plastic or glass. However, I'd still make sure I disassemble the powerhead and give it a good cleaning.

Clean everything thoroughly with vinegar and water and you should be fine. I have always run cuprisorb as well if I'm worried. I've done this a few times when I use my QT as a hospital tank and want to return it back to a straight QT.
