How would you guys go about placing coral in here? Don’t worry about par levels (of course SPS high, etc.) but I can up my par levels or lower if needed! Don’t know exactly levels but just an observation. How would yall do the zones? SPS, Hammers, Zoas, etc.

Just trying to get some input as this will be a grow out tank so I can snip colonies and sell frags!

It helps to par map your tank but just divide it into thirds and place corals in top, middle or bottom third including sand based on coral type and par specs for your tank

The correct answer is, ask the coral. I've had luck with sps in low light, and LPS getting blasted by nuclear fission. Just watch and see what they like then adjust as necessary.

Doesn't seem like the picture uploaded?

Idk about him but for me it takes long to post and sometimes it looks like it never got posted. Maybe that’s what happened

SPS high in the tank and get high flow up there

Hammers/Torches/etc in the middle range with good flow

Zoas on the sand bed or close with low/medium flow.

Fairly shallow tank unless I’m trippin. So you’ll probably have a lot of overlap as far as “zones”

Yeah no I apologize for that, I posted it with the new app and have no clue why it did it 6 times? It took forever to load and then said it didn’t post, then did, then didn’t have pictures, then had pictures. Idk I’m sticking with browser on here for sec!

Don’t worry mine does the same thing but I thought it was just my phone or my internet connection

Been there plenty of times. Double threads, double posts. This out of the net lag is causing more issues.

But as vintage said. Anywhere, everywhere. May need to adjust some pieces if bleaching or polyps dont open. A lot of our coral are no longer wild and adapt readily. Not all, but enough of them.
