Hi! I recently started up a salt water tank about a month ago, currently has 2 clownfish, gsp, and a small hammer frag. I have recently discovered coralline algae on my line rock, wave maker and heater. I heard that it means your water is stable? Is this so?
I’m currently also using a Fluval 3.0 Nano Marine light for a 10 gallon.
Let me know what this means!

Coralline is questionable at that early a stage unless you grabbed all seeded stuff. I.e. rock, water, sand....
Can you post photos in white light?
Not an emergency

When I upgraded my tank a few months ago with established rocks, coralline started going crazy within a couple weeks. It’s possible, but I don’t see any coralline in your tank. Could you take closer pics and circle where you think you see some?

I also wanted to add that I am adding reef fusion 1 and 2 to maintain healthy parameters for my coral. is this the reason? should i stop using those in my tank for now?

Oh! I though those red dots were coralline algae...

Are you testing calcium and alkalinity? If not, start doing so ASAP. No need to dose unless water changes are no longer enough to keep parameters stable.

Just focus on stability and don’t get any corals until you get a hang of testing the key parameters. Let your tank mature for a bit and ease into soft corals before you try anything too fancy

Algae doesn’t look like anything crazy yet! I’d just get a few Trochus snails and a Turbo snail and ride it out. Be sure to keep an eye on your nitrates and phosphates as well if you aren’t already.

I actually did put aquavitro seed in it for the first 7 days. Is this seeding?

Am I the only one who's missing the coralline here lol?? I see typical brown/green algae, not coralline, but my eyes are old :-)

That looks like the painted life rock from caribsea with some diatoms on it. It is possible coralline algae can grow in a couple weeks but doubtful without seeding of some sort.
You just beat me to this point. That looks like CarribSea "Life Rock" not live rock. @aeg5aeg what did you use for rocks exactly?
