I just noticed that my SC rainbow Yuma has 4 TINY babies! I'd take a picture, but I'm not sure they'll show up (that's how small they are)! I'll see if I can get one later today anyway though. I also have some more corals to add, so I'm overdue for an update.
This update is for a coral I picked up yesterday at Dave's Aqua Stock in Pittsburgh, PA. Here's the receipt:
$39.99 added to $248.25 is $288.24 for total spent on coral.
Here's the piece...it's a LPS of some kind...not exactly sure what... It looks (and acts) like a Scoly...sort of...it was labeled a trachyphylia, but it's definitely not that or a lobo...not sure, but I love the orange and sunset colored rim...glows beautifully under the blues. If you have any idea on what this is, feel free to chime in.
Some of them are and some aren't. Aquaworld had a lot of high end coral and Dave's had good prices on stuff like this guy and even some large colonies.
Here's another piece from the Reef Raft USA live sale. It's an acan of some type (not the typical acans I'm used to). Got it for a steal of a price at the end of the sale. Here's the receipt:
This ends up being $1 of my coral budget which puts me at $300.49 total spent.
Here he is happy and hungry in my nano (he's ALWAYS hungry).
I picked up a some palys and a slightly damaged scoly at AquaWorld in Pittsburgh a couple of days ago. Here is the receipt. $90 + 300.49 brings us to a total of $390.49 spent so far.
The palys look like scarface palys to me.
Here they are opening in my tank.
The scoly is slightly damaged (they said an angel was nipping at it), but at $60, I can't complain. This thing is SUPER BRIGHT!! It looks like a master go me.
Thanks! I'm hoping he'll do well. I waited a few days to put him in the nano bc I wanted to be sure he wasn't on his way out, but he's eating good and had plumped up nicely. In feeding him Fauna Marin's LPS pellets.
